Critique is essential to any writer’s betterment, but receiving criticism on one’s hard work is a difficult thing!
Author/illustrator Jennifer Stolzer will discuss how to find errors, target weaknesses, and explore possible writing solutions in a critique group setting during a workshop from 10 a.m. to noon, Aug. 5, at The Lodge Des Peres, 1050 Des Peres Rd., St. Louis, MO., 63131. Free to St. Louis Writers Guild members; $5 for nonmembers.
Jennifer, who heads the Guild’s critique group program, will discuss protocol and tactics when it comes to both giving and receiving criticism from other authors.
